Macclesfield based specialist B2B PR consultancy Skout has bolstered its team and breadth of expertise with the appointment of Michael Cavanagh as a consultant.
Skout provides PR, social media and digital marketing services across a number of B2B industry areas and its latest recruit has more than 12 years’ experience in journalism, PR and communications for a variety of organisations including Network Rail and National Grid.
Michael’s background covers a range of PR and communications disciplines, incorporating corporate communications, media relations, crisis management, stakeholder engagement and internal communications. His additional skills will help Skout extend its range of services including crisis management and internal communications.
Prior to joining Skout Michael worked on a number of freelance projects in the energy and utilities sectors. He has also held roles of Corporate Communications Manager at Scotia Gas Networks and Press and Communications Officer at South West Trains.
