Become a digital expert

A recent story from Prolific North caught our attention with the announcement that it’s joining forces with Manchester Metropolitan University to create a Postgraduate Certificate in Digital Communications Management.

The new course is designed to deliver best practice in digital communications skills mixed with thought leadership from some of the North’s leading communications industries practitioners. It is aimed at companies or organisations looking to invest in staff members with the potential to become senior managers.

Delegates will get to learn about how communications firms have built their businesses and develop relationships with other comms execs as they move into management roles. The course creators envisage delegates coming from a range of backgrounds such as SEO, social media, broadcasting, advertising, marketing and sales.

Some of the elements that make up digital communications are often considered as a dark art and marketing fluff by many people, but as any communications specialist knows, used effectively, they can really help put an organisation on the map.

As a B2B PR agency, we think this course will be a fantastic opportunity for any ambitious communications specialist to apply the full digital communications mix within their organisations. It will give them the opportunity to become a specialist adviser on all things digital and use their new skills to look for opportunities to help expand and grow their businesses.
