The first couple I saw were mildly amusing and as I’d never been subjected to Bitstrips before, thought what a great idea it was. Now my Facebook wall is full of them and it’s driving me crazy and they’re not even THAT funny.
Bitstrips, the makers of these comic strips recently released an android app with an update offering over 1000 different templates to choose from. The app was an immediate big hit with more than 11 million downloads making it hot property in both the iPhone and Android stores.
I don’t think I’m alone in my annoyance at this craze because there are guides online on how to block Bitstrips postings on Facebook and even calls to unfriend the anyone who has the audacity to share their ‘hilarious’ comic strips.

And if you’re my friend on Facebook, you’re reading this blog and thinking of turning your life into a comic strip…………Stop, or I’m not sure our deep and meaningful Facebook friendship can continue!
