Feeling festive?

Tis the season to be jolly, fa la la la la la la lah! Yes, it’s getting festive at Skout HQ! We have our tree up, we have mince pies and we’re all frantically Christmas shopping during our lunch breaks. And in keeping with this festive merriment, we’ve come up with four reasons why it’s great to work for a B2B PR agency in the run up to the big day:

Cracking Christmas parties

What’s not to love about a Christmas party? An opportunity to get to know your colleagues better and hopefully a drink (or three) to get the party started. There’s always a tale to tell the next day and we’re planning on going ice skating in Manchester so visit the blog next week to find out if we’re budding Jane Torvills and Christopher Deans or more like human forms of Bambi!

Merry media coverage

Journalists still need stories even at this crazy time of year and trade titles that normally wouldn’t touch a frivolous story are all the more receptive to a festive flourish applied to a news story or survey.

Creative Christmas stories

Following on from number two, there’s all sort of Christmas-related stories you can create at this time of year. A good festive photo story or an act of good will could help generate some unexpected coverage for your client at this time of year.

Munching on mince pies and chocolates

There’s always lots of these knocking around the office and this time of year. It’s vital that they are eaten pre-Christmas as the mass office detox will begin in January. So get stuck in!
