mmadigital is a digital marketing specialist for the legal sector. Its innovative customer acquisition services help professional UK law firms achieve growth through higher quality leads in areas such as personal injury, medical negligence and accident claims.

Looking to position itself as a disruptive technology business in the sector, mmadigital approached Skout to help it build brand awareness. It wanted to educate law firms around the benefits of its innovative services and boost its employer brand regionally to support future recruitment.


Skout recommended a data driven strategy which examined consumer perceptions of law firms. We conducted research into the views of people who had used or considered using legal services. This provided a strong campaign foundation covering news, commentary, blogs and marketing content.

We profiled mmadigital by sharing its success stories in both the regional media and top law publications. This helped position the company as an attractive and alternative employer for legal graduates looking to start their careers.

By showcasing mmadigital as a credible thought leader, we helped it stand out from competitors by using its rich sector knowledge to produce engaging, advisory content for law firms and businesses.


The campaigns were a resounding success, exceeding targets and expectations. mmadigital received 60 pieces of targeted media coverage within a 12-month period, with 33% of online coverage containing links to the website. This resulted in an estimated 500,000 targeted brand views and the brand being amplified on social media 160 times.

Key regional media publications such as the Manchester Evening News and Prolific North established the company as a disruptive technology business. Coverage in The Law Society Gazette and Legal Futures helped raise awareness of mmadigital and what they have to offer to potential law firms. A feature in The Times promoted the research campaign. And, the focus on graduate recruitment also helped underpin mma’s growth story, with news on employment opportunities, team expansion and an office relocation published in various media including Lawyer Monthly and Business Up North.

Working closely with the Skout team, we have been able to showcase our brand in a range of different media and importantly, communicate our key messages to our target market as well as to a broader audience. Though the results speak for themselves, we have been impressed with how Skout used their creativity and industry knowledge to produce engaging content for our potential audiences.
