Last night, the Skout team attended the PR Moment Awards at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester. The glitzy event celebrates the achievements of PR and digital agencies in the north.
We were finalists for best media relations campaign and B2B PR agency of year and while we didn’t come away with the top prize this time around it was great to add these two accolades to our trophy cabinet. With over 800 entries for 35 awards, it was quite an achievement just to get on the shortlist in two categories.
Now it’s no secret that us Skouts like any opportunity to don a prop or two and have our snap taken in a photo booth, and PR Moment didn’t disappoint. Modelling an array of fabulous head gear, we got to experience our very first GIF booth, essentially turning our photo into a short animation. See us in action here on Twitter.
No awards do worth its salt is complete without an MC and ‘famous’ presenter and we were treated to an evening with Andy Crane (anyone remember Ed the Duck?) of children’s BBC fame and Alan Dedicoat, voice of Strictly Come Dancing and the National Lottery.
Creativity may not be high on the agenda today for many of the attendees if the number of bottles of wine and fizz consumed at the event are anything to go by, but a great night was had by all and congratulations to all the winners.
