Skout doubles up on the PRCA DARE awards shortlist

Good news from Skout HQ! We’ve been shortlisted in two categories in this year’s PRCA DARE awards.

The awards celebrate PR professionals across five regions in the UK and each category is judged on the strategy, research, creativity, originality and evaluation of each campaign.

We have been shortlisted in two categories in the North: ‘Integrated Campaign of the Year’ and ‘Trade & B2B PR Campaign’ and the short-listings recognise our recent work on our Procurement 2020 campaign on behalf of our client Wax Digital.

The purpose of the campaign was to help build awareness of Wax as a leading procurement technology brand and position its target audience as being early adopters of innovative procurement technology. From a marketing perspective, the aim of the campaign was to help increase demand for Wax Digital’s eProcurement software and generate marketing leads.

A combination of research, news stories and thought-leadership articles were used as a basis of our campaign which resulted in 28 pieces of coverage. This integrated campaign approach meant that in addition to press coverage, Wax was able to build a marketing campaign around the survey results and use the collaterals produced as part of the campaign to generate leads. As a result, Wax was able to generate 209 marketing leads for Wax, 19.35% of its annual target of 1080. Social media shares and mentions were also monitored, with Wax followers showing a real interest in our campaign materials.

The award ceremony is late next month and we’re looking forward to getting suited and booted to attend the glitzy awards ceremony at the Raddisson Blu Edwardian in Manchester. Wish us luck!
