The Skout PR team was all glammed up for a night on the tiles on Wednesday evening as we attended the PR Moment Awards 2015.
The award ceremony which celebrates PR excellence in the North, Northern Ireland & Scotland took place at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester. Now, Manchester as a location is great because as a big city it has some good venues to host these types of events and is where the majority of the nominees are based. However, given the geographic reach of the awards, I think it would be advantageous and fairer for those entrants not based in the city to see it hosted elsewhere from time-to-time.
The event was attended by over 250 in-house and agency PR professional and the awards celebrate some of the best work from the industry. From ‘social media campaign of the year’ to ‘stunt and event of the year,’ there were a host of different categories winning awards on the night.
Unfortunately, Skout didn’t win ‘the small agency of the year award,’ but a great night was had by all regardless. Highlight of the evening was dancing to the tunes spun by Madchester music scene legend Clint Boon!
Congratulations to all the winners at this year’s PR Moment Awards and it’s fantastic to see so many vibrant and creative consumer and B2B PR agencies thriving up north!
